Before buy KitchenAid Artisan 5..My wedding gift mixer (a Sunbeam Mixmaster) switched 33 per week before Christmas, and my hubby think it is time that i can have a replacement. He gifted me on Christmas using the KitchenAid 5 Qt. Artisan in whitened. I really like this mixer and then leave it on my small counter, something I never did using the Mixmaster. I lately bought the citrus juicer attachment from Amazon . com and am happy with it too. I haven’t read all 109 previous reviews on this website, however i read a couple of which were disgruntled as their Artists didn’t mix well. I initially had exactly the same trouble with the beater/bowl clearance. It’s very easy to remedy. There’s a beater adjustment screw around the mixer and also the manual describes steps to make the changes. I acquired better still instructions by calling customer care at KitchenAid.
